開始左份工有一個多月.
對於這份工, 其實有很多share.
講之前, 先講下我份工, 究竟係負責什麼, 工作性質係乜先.
My title is flight instructor.
Flight, 固之然係飛的意思.
instructor ,即係教員,教官等.
combine together, flight instructor,即指教飛.
同教車師傅差唔多, 教佢地直接考到牌為止. 分別係一個在地上, 一個在空中.
相信大家都係衝上雲霄ge fans,right?其實我份工, 同吳鎮宇(Sam)o係澳洲Adelaide的工作一樣,教zita, issac, donald 等cadets飛
o係我而家ge flight college, 我教的學生都係cadets,因為我地學校同airline 都有contract,負責為佢地訓練機師. 佢地都係cadets, 不過唔係來自魚翅, 而係來自內地的航空公司. 其實o個d公司大家都可能聽過, 或者甚至坐過佢地的飛機. 有深圳航空, Air China, Air China Cargo, 廈門航空, 中國東方,同埋南方航空.總共6間公司的cadets.
其實佢地的qualification都唔差, 比如我ge學生, 我而家有7個學生, 全部都有大專以上的學歷, 有2個來自南京的大學, 一個來自長春, 一個來自廣州, 3個來自北京航天大學(Buaa)www.buaa.edu.cn/, 有d係computer science, 有d係computer engine, 有d係本身讀aviation.
搞笑的係, 我初時都唔知, 因為初次接觸佢地, 發覺佢地的年齡同我應該差唔多掛, 點不知, 有次傾計先知,原來佢地全部都大年紀過我, 最大o個個已經26歲. 估佢地唔到啊!!!真係..睇個係一d都唔似. 我都20有3, 但佢地原來唔止. 雖然話我係佢地阿Sir,但唔多唔少, 都有d好怪的感覺, 佢地點講都係我的長輩bor!
介紹下佢地, 佢地雖然係來自內地, 但係全部都有英文名, 有香港明星, 有韓國明星.
Rain(並非韓國的Rain)---來自深圳航空, 點解叫Rain, 並唔係佢似Rain ,or 有Rain的身型, 而係佢的first name, 係贊雨, 取其英文名Rain.
Frank ---- 來自深圳航空, 26歲, 但一d都唔似, 點解叫Frank,因為佢姓Fan,取其名Frank,不過我有時叫佢little Dragon,因為佢first name 叫小龍.
Toni ----- From 廈門航空, actually i dun know why he called himself Toni, 但係佢曾經講過好鍾意睇港產, especially梁朝偉d 戲, 或者係咁掛.
Samuel ---- From Xiamen airline.
Sam --- from China Southern, 廣東人, 冇乜特別, 但好鍾意同自己人o係學校吹水, 講廣東話, d 粗口勁到...... 唉.

Eason ---- 此eason不那eason, 來自China Southern airline
Austin ---- from China Southern, 係一個令人感到非常頭痕的學生. 每次見佢, 我ge血壓會不其然爆煲, 點解, 後談. 有段故.
雖然好多人對內地的airline都信心不足, 但係我ge 學生其實好出色, 好勤力, 好有紀律, 同埋聰明, 英文亦唔太差. 當然啦, 內地人鍾意食煙,我控制唔到, 唯一就係叫佢地唔好成日食, 同埋上機之前盡量唔好食, 因為兩個人o係架機度, 如果有陣煙味, 其實好難頂, 好焗. 其實唔止作為pilot, 就算普通人都唔應該食煙, 對健康唔好.
至於邊間最好, 邊間最差, 我只可以講so far, what i could see from my students, 深圳航空的學生比較聰明, 靈活. 我最鍾意同佢地飛, 每教完一個exercise, 佢地會好快上手.
其他唔係差ga, 不過有個慣性, 就係成日yes, understand, ok, no matter what i said, they just say ok, understand, yes. 有時其實好頭痛, u cant just say yes without thinking. 有時,我明白佢地英文未必好好, 所以與其令我失望, 倒不如答yes, understand. 但係我希望的係佢地真係諗過,思考過先講yes. 好多時, 我會特登講d錯ge野講下佢地catch唔catch到, 點不知當然大失所望啦.

Me: if we fly at 5000 ft, we use this column, ok??
student: yes, understand
me: u sure??
student: yes.
me: just think about what i said before, think about it. does it make sense? Can we fly VFR at 5000 ft??
student: Oh, sorry. no we cant.
好多時就係咁, 不經思考, 就答yes, understand. 唉.
亦有一個特別學生, 好鍾意問why , no, i dun think so, how come
其實問唔係問題, 但係佢係好多時, 唔諗就話no, u are wrong. 但當然就唔係啦, 好多時, 係佢自己錯, 例如計錯數, 思考錯誤, 跟住唔諗就話no, u are wrong or Why.
佢好得意, 反應好快, 我講完d野, 2,3秘唔洗就話, no u are wrong , i dun think so.
當然我梗係例牌同佢講, r u sure?? 跟住佢就會話自己重新計過, 之後好尷尬話sorry.
其實instructor,即係空中老師, 真係需要識好多野, 識之餘,更要識得點去解釋, 我相信yahoo blog都有唔少老師, 大家都明白, 自己識或者並非最難, 要解釋到令個學生明白先係最難.加上佢地的英文水平唔係最top, 所以有時要用一d簡單ge terms佢地先會明白.
我之前咪講過Austin係問題學生, 佢ge最大問題就係英文, 同佢做briefings, 就發覺到佢ge英文係差得好緊要, 簡單如why , how 的分別都唔知, up and down 的分別都唔識, 要做埋動作佢先明白. 最辛苦係佢講ge野, 要明白佢講的野, 係好難好難.grammar錯, 字眼錯. 好多時, 要聽完佢講一輪, 之後將佢講ge字o係個腦重新組織先估到佢想表達d乜.
honestly, i dun know whether he can continue his training or not.如果唔明,我都仲可以諗方法去教, 飛得唔好, 都仲得救. 但英文唔好, 真係好難幫到佢, 英文並唔係一,兩個星期會突飛猛進的事.
之前講到話briefings,究竟briefings係咩一回事呢?
其實briefings係, o係每一次上去飛, 個學生都會學一個新ge skill,例如spins, stalls, forced approach.每次briefings ge時候由短到30mins長至4個鐘都有.
做一個cross country briefings,真係超攰, 4個鐘,non stop係咁講, 又畫白版, 又畫map, 又講野, 個學生又攰, 我又攰.
可能大家有個問題, 會唔會私底下, 用普通話, 廣東話溝通呢?
絕對係唔可以. 學校打開門口做生意, 航空公司send班cadets黎學飛其中一個目的係希望d學生可以多d機會講英文, 所以我地雖然叫做自己友, 中國人, 由地上,到上到天空,全程英文, no exceptions.
咁飛左成個月, 有咩驚險或者特別事情發生呢??
當然有啦, 邊有得避.
始終佢地係學生, 犯錯係正常, 最緊要係以後唔好再犯, 咁我地就係要糾正佢地, 有時甚至乎要救返架機.
其中有幾次都幾值得分享.
1. 有一次, 我學生準備land, we were on final, 其實一切都ok, 到touchdown問題就黎喇, Flare 都冇問題, 但一touchdown之後, 架機就好似個彈彈波咁o係runway 上面,彈下彈下, 咁作為instructor其實應該要俾個機會學生去試修正, 但我等左一,兩秒都發覺, 佢冇意圖想修正, 愈彈個intenisity 愈高, 結果要講句"i have control" 咁就o係佢手上, take control and land. 我自己都係第一次咁樣o係landing期間take control, 但o個陣真係feel到好唔對路, 冇辦法唔take control.
2. 有一次, 做完run up, taxi to the runway準備take off, 咁係我學生take off, 當佢一add full power,我就發覺唔對路, 點解個oil pressure咁爆晒燈, 心知, 大鑊, 結果又係一句" i have control" aborted take off, 立即power idle, 用brakes整停左架機.真係驚ga, 萬一如果上左天空先發覺, 咁我就可能成為另一land 海上ge人. 最激氣,我睇返本logbook,先發覺原來maintainance出錯, 錯誤將一個已經壞左ge engine guage,當新黎用, 引致我要aborted take off. 真係好唔小心.
3. 又有一次, 我同個學生approach to land,已經short final, 好近runway, 突然間有架機o係左面閃出黎, cut線, 搶閘land左, 搞到我要overshoot, 要兜個圈, 做多個circuit先land到.其實真係好嬲, 好格硬黎, 我已經同tower講左我short final,佢都要特登cut線, 搶住land左先, 之後個instructor落到黎, 只係笑笑口講聲 sorry.
我地個機場有別於其他機場我地係control zone, uncontrol airport,tower唔會阻止你做任何野, 你認為ok,你就做啦, 唔會理你.你認為安全, 可以take off, 咁你就take off啦. 所以就係因為咁, 有好多唔危險野發生.
做instructor,可以做好多野講, 做lee份工, 真係好辛苦, 好攰. 日日飛4,5次, 又上,又落, 加上成日都俾條seat belt 扣住, 真係好唔舒服.

06年9月開始, 由一條都冇, 到而家膊頭有3條, 其實幾開心.
證明努力係冇白費. 肯努力, 肯捱, 肯堅持, 一定會有成果.
雖然暫時唔係airline pilot, 但係路ge方向正確, 成為airline pilot, 絕對唔係空談. 好多現役ge機師, o係事業初期都係一個flight instructor. 正如以前教我ge instructors, Joel. 上年4月離職轉左去間local airline as first officer.
